Welcome to Adams & Story. By using this website, submitting an inquiry, booking a service, or accessing any content on this site, you agree to the terms below.

  1. About Adams & Story

Adams & Story provides photography and film services, including weddings, couples, seniors, families, and related creative services. We are based in Southern Indiana and available for select travel.

  1. Website Use

You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only. You may not use this site in a way that damages the website, interferes with its function, attempts to gain unauthorized access, or misuses any content, forms, images, videos, or information provided here.

  1. Inquiries and Booking

Submitting a contact form does not confirm a booking. Your date is not reserved until a signed agreement and required payment have been received.

Availability, pricing, packages, and services may change at any time. Any custom proposal or quote is only valid for the timeframe listed in that proposal.

  1. Payments

Payment terms, retainers, balances, due dates, and accepted payment methods will be listed in your client agreement or invoice.

Unless stated otherwise in a signed agreement, retainers and booking payments are non-refundable because they reserve your date and limit our ability to accept other work for that date.

  1. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling terms will be handled according to your signed client agreement.

If weather, illness, venue restrictions, emergencies, or other circumstances affect a session or event, we will work with you in good faith to find the best available solution.

  1. Creative Style

By booking Adams & Story, you acknowledge that you are hiring us for our creative style, editing approach, storytelling, and professional judgment.

We do not guarantee specific poses, shots, edits, moments, lighting conditions, weather, locations, or outcomes that are outside our control.

  1. Image and Film Delivery

Final delivery timelines depend on the type of service booked, the scope of the project, editing needs, and seasonal workload.

Unless agreed otherwise, clients receive edited final images and/or completed film deliverables. Raw files, unedited images, project files, and unused footage are not included.

  1. Copyright and Usage

Adams & Story retains copyright ownership of the photos, videos, films, edits, and creative work we create, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. The U.S. Copyright Office states that copyright protects original photographs and gives the copyright owner rights including display, distribution, and adaptation.

Clients receive personal usage rights for delivered images and films. This includes sharing with family and friends, posting online, printing for personal use, and enjoying the work for personal purposes.

Clients may not sell, license, alter, heavily edit, apply filters to, or use delivered work for commercial purposes without written permission.

  1. Portfolio and Marketing Use

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, Adams & Story may use delivered photos and films for portfolio, website, social media, advertising, printed materials, sample albums, vendor galleries, and other promotional use.

If you have privacy concerns, please let us know before booking so we can discuss options.

  1. Reviews and Testimonials

Any testimonials, reviews, or client feedback shared with Adams & Story may be used for marketing, website, social media, and promotional purposes.

We aim to use reviews honestly and accurately. The FTC’s endorsement guidance says endorsements should be honest and not misleading.

  1. Third-Party Links and Services

This website may link to third-party platforms, galleries, payment processors, scheduling tools, social media platforms, or vendor websites.

We are not responsible for the content, policies, availability, or practices of third-party websites or services.

  1. Website Content

All text, logos, images, videos, graphics, designs, and other content on this website belong to Adams & Story or are used with permission.

You may not copy, download, reproduce, modify, repost, or use website content for business, marketing, commercial, or public use without written permission.

Client services are governed by the signed agreement for that specific booking.
